Welcome to the inaugural HBC brewer’s blog post. I have been wanting to start this blog for awhile to keep you all up to date on the process of building our brand and going pro. Also it is for myself to look back on the journey that my wife and I have decided to embark upon to truly find my life’s work. There will be no set timeline on blog post. I may not create one for several weeks then I will have several within a week.

Now I must admit to all of you that I am no way a writer [NOTE FROM THE WIFE: But I am a writer/editor and it’s driving me nuts he doesn’t want me to edit this post!]. Hell the fact that I can string a couple of sentences together on here to describe something can come as a surprise even to me.  So these blog posts maybe have incorrect grammar usage, run on sentences and everything that my high school English teacher would run out of red ink on my papers to point out my faults. But this is who I am. I cannot play an instrument, paint, draw, or anything else that could be considered as art.

Beer is art. Beer is MY art. Beer is my creative expression. To create a product that can be enjoyed by many people who can apperciate someone’s dedication and the hard work they put in to their art. Also my art can be the catalyst to providing my community with opportunities for growth and success.

I know it can sound cliche about the acronym of TEAM. Together Everyone Achieves More. But this I can believe that there is nothing more true than that. Together as a community we can grow and approve other lives by simply supporting our neighbor on their endeavors. Before brewing found me I always wanted to be involved in some way to improve my community.  I guess it’s more of feeling your apart of something bigger than yourselves. My wife and I want to improve our community. Dillsburg PA is a great small town which has the potential to me so much more than it is. With the support of the community I strive to do everything I can to support our community.

If anyone would have questions or comments feel free to email me directly and i will try to respond as quickly as i can.

Thank you all for the support I have already have received and will receive in the future.  And always follow us on facebook/twitter/instagram.

Please feel free to email me at brooks@hemauerbrewingco.com and/or comment below.

Cheers
Brooks

Very Proud of you and your work. I subscribed because I want to post your blog to G+ when it comes out. I have gained a nice little following that continues to grow.
Great heartfelt post, and the typos were only small, so no worries on that either. : )

Do you have any relatives in Wisconsin? Same last name as my husband. We are craft beer fans.
